Students take part in Clean Campaign

The Voice Inc PNG hosted the Clean Generation Campaign which saw vibrant students from the University of Papua New Guinea present to show their support, hope and longing for a new and changed PNG.
It’s a clean-a-thon to signify youths wanting to change PNG and themselves.
It’s a nationwide event aimed at creating a movement of young people who are purposeful, virtuous and responsible.
The Voice Inc, an organisation closely associated withthe Youth Against Corruption Association, hosted the weeklong campaign which started on Monday, August 23, and will end on Friday, August 25.
The campaign includes awareness on cancer by people from the PNG Cancer Foundation.
On Monday and Tuesday was the Clean-On-day which had the students clean around the campus.
Today is the Blood Drive and UPNG-Inspired day where the students will donate blood to the Port Moresby general hospital and a film, “Alpha Tribe” will be played on the night at the main lecture theater.
Friday will be the Bin Presentation day where students will paint and donations will be made by Akhzonnobel to the Voice Inc.
Also they have tickets for the lucky draw where students take part in any of the given activities will collect a TICK-IT ticket upon arrival and complete the details and return at the end to stand a chance to win goodie bags on Thursday evening at the UPNG Inspired activity.
Furthermore the first five students to attend any of the Clean acts will receive a Clean Gen shirt.
The Glean gen is supported by the University of Papua New Guinea, Better Health, Taubsman, PNG Cancer Foundation, Lae Snax Tigers and the Voice Inc.
